The Artist
Taos Curated Soundscapes is the event music identity of Michael Povilaitis — a DJ, MC, and atmosphere architect based in Taos, New Mexico. Michael brings 30 years of hospitality and crowd experience to outdoor athletic events, mountain festivals, destination parties, and unconventional venues across the Southwest.
He's been on both sides of the finish line. As a former runner and athlete in Taos, Michael knows what it feels like to cross into silence — and what it feels like when the base area is alive. That experience drives everything he builds.
His background isn't just in music. Three decades in hospitality taught him how to read a crowd, manage energy, know when to push and when to let it breathe. That instinct doesn't stay inside four walls. It works at a start line, a finish chute, and a base area in the mountains just as well as anywhere else.
Operating under Trails Entertainment LLC, TCS partners with race directors, event coordinators, ski areas, and mountain bike venues who want their events to feel bigger than they are — and grow year over year.
